GMPF is one of many local authority pension funds, which follow the rules of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). We are the largest in the country and membership is enjoyed by people who work for the local authorities in Greater Manchester, as well as other employers.

Your benefits are built up under the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). For service from April 2014 onwards each year of membership earns you 1/49th of your pensionable pay, revalued each April in line with the cost of living. Pre-2014 service is calculated separately on your final salary.
Log in to My Pension to view your latest Annual Benefit Statement, run retirement projections and update your nominated beneficiaries. New users can register with their National Insurance number and a recent payslip.
