GMPF and CBRE investment event

Last week GMPF and CBRE Ltd welcomed over 175 guests to the annual breakfast event at the iconic Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.

The event brought together developers, investors, and public sector leaders to celebrate the power of partnership and the progress being made across Greater Manchester and the North West. With CBRE Ltd serving as GMPVF’s investment advisor, the morning spotlighted the Fund’s evolving strategy, recent landmark developments, and the collaborative efforts driving regeneration and sustainable growth in the region.

Attendees heard directly from partners who shared their experiences of working with the Fund - from delivering new homes to creating jobs and supporting greener, more inclusive development.

Key achievements shared at the event included:

• 201 businesses supported through debt or equity funding
• 15,303 jobs supported and 3,923 new jobs created
• 3,753 new homes completed, in development, or in the pipeline - with 76 per cent located in Greater Manchester and the North West

Each investment is carefully assessed against a wide range of environmental and social criteria, ensuring that the Fund not only delivers financial returns but also long term value for communities.
